Late games (10pm) are always special and the team spirit counts double. Having 3 subs was key to our victory. We started very organized in defense and controlled the game from the first minutes on. Kevin J. was absolutely invincible in goal, so Fred's Market could not score on us in the first half. But Thomas, Mark and Dan scored 5 goals for us.
This kicked in the mercy rule in the second half and we always seem to fall apart a bit when we are dominating the game. We ended up with blue cards for line violation and from now on we will charge $10 for this to fill the beer account. The Fred's got back to 4:7 and the next goal was decisive. But we pulled ourselves together, played stronger on defense and converted our next chances to win it 4:10.
Two games into the season, two wins. Not too bad. Let's take D4 next week!
