Session 57 Opener

Perhaps it was the 2 week layoff. Maybe it was the lack of sleep and extra pounds from the Rome release. Or it could have been the defensive hole left from Seamus and Kevin abandoning the team for vacation... Whatever it was, Workdaze kicked off their 6th session with a miserable showing against Survey.

Early on, Workdaze looked to be in good form scoring early to take a 1:0 lead. However, Survey quickly showed that they had the better team for this game. Their defense collapsed around the Workdaze offense. Joe found it difficult to maneuver on offense, and when Workdaze's makeshift defense pushed up to help, Survey's fast break counterattack was left open.

Survey held a 3:2 halftime lead, and increased the final margin to 6:3 on a nice goal as time was running low, and the Workdaze resolve broken. Coming off a championship season, Survey looks to be the new team to beat in division 3. Including last session's playoff elimination, Survey has beaten Workdaze two games in a row. They picked up where they left off with a trouncing of Workdaze 6:3.
