Game 2: Workdaze v. D4 3:4 (3:1)

Another hard fought battle against Wordaze's nemesis D4. We started the game strong holding off the initial push from D4 and building a 3-1 halftime lead. Just before halftime we lost Pedro to a pretty bad achilles injury. It was a tough loss of one of our defensive stalwarts!

The 2nd half focus was on holding the lead, but D4 was able to slowly chip away and take the lead. Down 3-4 with minutes to play there was a final push with some good opportunities, but we just couldn't get the ball in the net.

Overall, it was a great team effort and we played a very solid game.

Game 1: Workdaze @ Suburban Turbans 7:1 (3:1)

Session 63 marked Workdaze's 12th session as a team. Game 1 was a forfeit to Vanderbilt, but it appears this might be rescheduled to a future Sunday so we're calling this game 1.

Our first game on the field was against the Suburban Turbans. Usually an easy win, but playing any team at 10pm is always trouble. As usual there was a very slow start to the game, but we managed to head to half with a 3-1 lead. The second half saw the Turbans cut the lead to 3-2 before Workdaze pulled away for a 7-2 victory really pouring it on late in the 2nd half.
