Recap:
Workdaze clinched first place for session 59 with a 7-1 victory over winless Tap Out. Unfortunately, Jon was added to the team's growing injury list. The injury happened just 1 minute into the game when a challenge with a Tap Out player caused his foot to impact awkwardly. He stayed in the game, but did not play up to par. Today medical tests revealed a broken right big toe, causing him to miss up to 6 weeks.

In likely his last game before the playoffs, Kevin played brilliantly in goal. The keeper held Tap Out scoreless until two minutes to play.

The game had a slower pace to it, as Tap Out is the eldest team in the league. Workdaze also seemed slowed by the recent flu that has been passed around the office. As has been the case all season, Workdaze distributed the offense with 8 players contributing a goal or an assist. Geoff seems to have turned into an offensive powerhouse. Thomas had a nice goal from outside the Tap Out zone, and Ralf made a nice individual move to finish the scoring.

Workdaze will have a challenging final two games as they try to finish a perfect regular session with Jon and Kevin out and Thomas still recovering.
