Game 7: Workdaze - D4 3:4 (1:1)
Although we lost the game in the end, this was definitely one of our best games this season. We did not have our goalie Kevin, so we had split this between Ralf first half and an injured Seamus second half. We also did not have Thomas, Frank, Joe, Mark, Attila. With OCA Salva returning to the field we had one sub only.
D4 has got some strong players and needed the win to get into the playoffs. We played good defense in the first half and only allowed one goal. Dan (assist Armin) scored the 1:1 equalizer.
Second half, we actually took the lead with goals by Ralf (assist Armin) and big Dan again (assist Ralf). With 15 minutes left to go, D4 really stepped up the pressure and we were getting really tired. 2 blue cards against Armin and Jon did not help as well. D4 scored 3 goals on us and even with a furious five last minutes and several close hits to the goal, we did not tie the game.
Overall, this game was good because we fought hard every minute and lost to the better team. We will see them in the playoffs and beat them there...
