Recap:
A great victory in a hard fought game. In the first half, Thomas played goalie and offered up an easy goal for the Cars early on. But he swore revenge. Workdaze played a controlled game with strong defense and allowed almost no chances. PV had plenty opportunity to score the equalizer, but couldn't push the ball over the goal line on two occasions. Guillermo did his usually job and called no fouls on his fellow Peruvian country men. But Workdaze stayed calm and focused. With 5 minutes left in the first half, Doug took a hard shot, missed close and Ralf converted the rebound for the 1:1.
In the second half, Ralf switched with Thomas in goal and Thomas made up for his early mistake with 2 awesome goals. Then it was Ralf's turn to let in an easy goal for the 2:3. The game was close again and got very physical. The Workdaze defense held up well. Doug scored the 2:4 with a beatiful shot in the lower left corner. With Armin out for 2 minutes the cars got back in the game with an power play goal for 3:4. Doug sealed our victory with the 3:5 with 2 minutes to go.

An awesome team victory in a hard fought game. MVP goes to Doug for two critical goals and some assists. Workdaze is 3 and 1 now!!!
