Recap:

With the first place already clinched, Workdaze's goal was to stay undefeated in the session. Workdaze had to play without the key players Frank, Jon, and goalie Kevin. But Mark and Attila returned to the roster. The first half had 2 faces. Workdaze was in total control of the game in the beginning and gained quickly a 3-0 lead. Armin scored the first goal showing up alone in front of the goalie after a beautiful long pass by Paul through the whole Fred's Market defense. Ralf extended the lead with 2 more goals. During that time, Workdaze produced one chance after the other and could have easily scored another 2 goals.

After about 10 minutes, the game changed when the 2 good players (the goatie and the bold guy) of Fred's Market arrived. Fred's Market increased the pressure from now on and scored the 3-1 after a counter attack. The 3-2 followed when goalie Thomas got out of goal but could not clear the ball far enough. Paul saved the first shot on the line. But Fred's Market scored on the rebound, so that Workdaze went with a 3-2 lead into half-time.

In the 2nd half, Ralf took over the goalie position from Thomas and it showed later to be a wise move. Fred's Market scored early the 3-3 tying goal and the game was on the edge from now. Both teams had a couple of chances. Thomas scored the 4-3 after steeling the ball from a Fred's Market defender. Then, Ralf had 2 great saves stopping strong shots on the line, before Saul scored the 5-3 with an exact shot in the lower corner.

Now the Workdaze defense gained back the control of the game. Seamus (as usual) and Armin, Mark, and Paul (helping out for Jon) did not give the Fred's Market strikers any room anymore. Workdaze had several chances to score on counter attacks towards the end. Another goal by Saul extended the lead to 6-3. The 4th goal of Fred's Market came too late to make a difference.

Again, Workdaze showed a great team effort and a good morale taking back the lead after the 3-3 tie.One more game to go undefeated into the play-offs.
