Game 7: Workdaze vs. Munchenbox 2:6 (0:2)

Another tough loss last night. We weren’t on our best game after the company meeting, but we still played pretty well. Unfortunately Survey/Munchenbox has picked up a few players and is now very good.

We were down 2-0 at halftime, and looked to be in the game. However, they outplayed us and had more players and were able to wear us down to a 6-2 deficit.

Believe it or not, we’re still not out of the playoffs. We need to win against Vanderbilt by more than two goals and we’re in. With a win we’d tie Vanderbilt in the standings, we’d be 1-1 against each other, so the second tie breaker is head to head goal differential. They beat us 5-3 in our Sunday makeup, so we need to win by more than 2 (a lot better than trying to make up our original 9-0 forfeit deficit!). If we only win by 2 we’d be out due to the next tie breaker – goals scored in the season (they have a 36-32 advantage).
