Game 1: Workdaze defeats TapouT! 7:2 (2:1)

Session 64 Begins!

Report from team manager David Epstein:

In typical Workdaze scrappy second half dominance, we turned a 2-1 half-time lead in a close game into a 7-2 victory over TapouT. It was TapouT’s worse loss in 6 games (Happy Feet beat them 9-0 last session).

Welcome back to PV, to Ralf for this 1 game, and welcome two new players—Robert and Javier.

As for defensive points, I recall at least one “sure goal” that Kevin stopped--a 3-on-1(plus Kevin) late in the first half (we had three strikers and a midfielder all pushed forward too far). I think there were at least 2 other “good chances” that Kevin stopped in the first half, 1-on-1s (that is, 1 against Kevin) that Kevin stopped first half. Overall, it was a great team effort, but I was especially grateful for Kevin in this game.

As for offense, too many goals to remember. Please send goals and assists … and any other stories about Kevin, or feel free to kiss somebody else’s @ss, except mine (scoreless and out-of-shape cherry picker).
