Workdaze secured first place with a forfeit win and a Survey tie tonight. Vanderbilt only had 5 players available. They tried to play with a man down, but given it was 100 degrees on the field, and Workdaze was determined to come out strong they never had a chance.
Workdaze quickly went up 5-0. We played great for the rest of the half avoiding any mercy rule violations. The score was 7-0 at halftime.
At halftime we weren’t sure exactly how many goals we needed to secure first against Survey and we wanted to continue. However, Vanderbilt was clearly done. We negotiated a peaceful surrender and ended up with a 9-0 forfeit win. Turns out we only needed the win because Survey and D4 tied last night. They face each other again on Monday.
Playoffs start Monday against TapouT.
